Use Case

Inspection

Keep machines running with consistent, automated loading and unloading. Standard Bots handles repetitive part movement, helping reduce operator strain, minimize downtime, and increase output.
THREE WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Whatever you need is what we deliver

Standard Bots is an AI-native industrial robot OEM, but we sell direct as well as through partners. We take responsibility for every installation, and provide you unmatched support in the industry.

DIY Kit

You get the robot, accessories, software, and documentation. Your team handles end-to-end installation. We're here if you need us — but you're in the driver's seat.
FOR SELF-SERVE DEPLOYMENTS

Value-Add Package

We configure your kit, train your team on-site, and stay hands on through your first production runs. You own the cell long-term — we make sure you're confident before we step back.

Full Integration

Tell us the problem. We design the cell, install the system, integrate with your equipment, and optimize until you hit your production targets. We don't leave until it's working.

Skills

Three skills. Every task

Every skill you teach is built from the same three parts.
Standard Bots AI vision preview

Our robots see and understand.

Locate and classify objects using the wrist camera. The camera finds and identifies parts on the fly, so they adapt when things move instead of stopping.
Vision
Standard Bots AI motion planning preview

Our robots move and navigate.

Move the arm to a target position or along a recorded path. Send the arm to a position or record a path once, and they move intelligently, every cycle.

Our robots run and reason.

Add custom knowledge or instructions for the AI agent — it makes the right call mid-task.

Frequently asked questions

Spark is designed to be the perfect desktop collaborative companion. Automate the most strenuous, tedious, and delicate tasks in your workflow with industry-leading repeatability.

Manufacturers checking parts by eye today: machined parts, castings, molded plastics, welds, electronics, medical devices, assemblies and labeled packaging. Typical checks include surface defects, missing features, presence and orientation of components, and label accuracy.

Inspection cameras are light, so reach and part size drive the choice more than payload. Spark suits small parts at a bench. Core covers most inspection cells. Thor reaches around large parts or across a wider fixture.

Because sustained visual inspection is hard for anyone. In a Sandia National Laboratories study, 82 trained inspectors caught 85% of defective parts and wrongly rejected 35% of good ones, close to the roughly 80% industry average Sandia cites. A robot applies the same criteria to every part, every shift, and frees your inspectors to judge the borderline cases.

A fixed camera sees one side of a part from one angle, so it can miss 3D features, undercuts and defects on other faces. A robot moves the camera around the part and views it from as many angles as the check needs. One cell can also inspect several part numbers without re-mounting cameras.
